Dr. Michael Geist is a board-certified internal medicine specialist (DACVIM) and instructor at Green Dog University, where he teaches continuing education courses on internal medicine and diagnostic reasoning for veterinarians and technicians.

He earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree and completed a residency in internal medicine, becoming a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine. Since 2006, he has worked in multidisciplinary emergency and specialty hospitals in New York City, San Diego, and Los Angeles, providing advanced diagnostics and patient management.
